Short Bio

Matt Bucklin is passionate about entrepreneurial ventures and working on big problems.  He is currently the a founder and managing partner of Valley Cove Capital, a search fund launched in 2022.  Before launching the fund, he had founded multiple startups in the consumer health and consumer products industries.  In 2020 he co-founded Sense Relief Inc., an antiemetic digital therapeutics company based in Silicon Valley.  As CEO he oversaw product development, capital raising, the intellectual property strategy, and sales and partnerships.  In 2010, Matt founded The Quit Company, with what became a global best-selling consumer alternative quit smoking aid, Quit Tea.  He became a recognized thought leader in smoking cessation and was featured on CNBC, in the Huffington Post, eHealth Radio, and Whole Foods Magazine, and asked to speak at conferences and universities.  His research was published in a peer-reviewed academic journal Tobacco Use Insights in 2020.  Matt graduated from the Yale School of Management with an MBA in 2022, and a BA from Colby College in 2005.  He is currently living in West Palm Beach, Florida.
